Here is the collage I put together from the images I took on our Type Scavenger Hunt. This was a fun project and it was great getting to walk around outside in beautiful downtown Tulsa. I found myself noticing lots of styles of type, even things that were not on our list to find. I liked the three-dimensional letters a lot and I loved the Woody Guthrie mural. His guitar with the “This Machine Kills Fascists” message is iconic. That mural was very intriguing and definitely made me want to go into the museum. I think it’s awesome how typography can evoke certain emotions and lead you to your destination.
